  • Question: is shakespeare in love any good? - maddierose
  • Answer:

it’s actually quite good. joseph fiennes (brother of ralph) leads an all-star cast, including gwyneth paltrow who has to play a woman pretending to be a man so she can play a woman in a shakespeare play.  Dame Judi Dench stars too, as well as the actor who plays Arthur Weasley (back in the day).  Ben Affleck even does a good job!  Haha!  It’s actually very cleverly written (though a bit cheesy in spots) and it’s very well acted and made.  The Academy liked it enough to give it the Best Picture Oscar over Saving Private Ryan, a mistake in my humble opinion.  But nevertheless, it’s very enjoyable, and normally a favorite among people who have seen it (particularly those of the female gender, haha).

  • Question: what are your views on your sexuality? - Anonymous
  • Answer:

interesting question.  basically, my overall philosophy is that ALL LOVE IS GOOD; IT’S THE HATE YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR.  I’m all for gay, straight, bi— whatever.  And i’m all for them having rights, as well.

As far as my feelings on sexuality as a concept, i’m going to borrow a theory from a friend of mine, who describes the sexuality spectrum as more as a bell curve, rather than two pairings of absolutes.  Meaning that rather than having a world populated with many singularly heterosexual or homosexual people, that most humans have tendencies for both natures, but just fall more to one side of the spectrum than the other.  In other words: a majority of people would probably be better classified as MOSTLY straight, or MOSTLY gay.

As far as my own orientation, i am straight.  but a gay friend of mine is constantly amused, surprised, and impressed by my ability to get in touch with a different side and hypothesize situations from a homosexual standpoint.  I’m not sure if i actually explained that last part correctly, but… I hope this answers your question adequately?

  • Question: Do you have any idea how much I love you? :) - Anonymous
  • Answer:

Hard to respond to that since you sent it anonymously.  But I’m gonna guess… more than anything else in the whole-wide world!  Am I right?

  • Question: I would let you do whatever you wanted to me.

Oh was I supposed to click "anonymously" so you wouldn't know it was me? Oops! My mistake ;) - genevievelau
